VW Golf GTI Cabriolet - costs £29k and now up for grabs
Following a reveal at the Geneva Motor Show, VW has revealed prices and specs for the Golf GTI Cabriolet. Starts at £29,310. We may be getting towards the end of the shelf life of the current VW Golf, but that didn’t stopped Volkswagen revealing a range topping Golf drop top in the guise of the Golf GTI Cabriolet at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

Next week sees the start of the 2010 Detroit Motor Show – the first big Motor Show of the season. So the teases are now starting in earnest for the NAIAS and MINI has put together a video trailer for the goodies it’s planning on bringing to the party.
THE FINAL Mini hatchback of the current generation has left the production line in Oxford, after more than a million were made for customers around the world. There’s no time for production staff to rest, though, with assembly of the new Mini hatchback already under way alongside the many other Mini model derivatives. In total, more than 1.8 million hatchback Minis have been built at the factory since 2001, of which 1,041,412 were the currently outgoing model.
